Salam Semua,

Hi all,

Starting this week, blind person that travel by monorail can get your 50% ticket from these 3 stations. They are KL Sentral, Embi and Bukit Bintang.

I got to know about this when coming back from Embi to Hang Tuah after attending a seminar on accessibility organized by JKM at Berjaya Hotel Time Square yesterday.

When I asked how come there is no half price from Hang Tuah to Embi, the sales clerk replied that usually any promotions will start with the 3 stations mentioned above.

So, those that frequently travel from Tun Sambathan have to shift to KL Sentral if you want to enjoy the 50% discount for the time being. For users that travel from other stations have to be patient before the facility is offered.

With warmest regards,

Loh (K.K.)

Email 2:

Hi KK,

I myself and Romie have posted in our FB to alert all OKUs. Not only these 3 stations but all stations can. It's more of the attitude of the counter person. If you don't ask for discount ticket, so they give you normal price ticket. So, re-send out your mail.

There were those who purchase the RM20 value card and the counter still sell to them on the day the manual discounted ticket have started.

This discounted manual ticket, similar to lrt, have started since last week. Many of us have been enjoying it.

Just for your info, the PR of Rapid don't even know that this has started as well till I call up to ask and it alerted them.

Regards,
BK.

Salam dari Kuching.
